Abstract

Based on extensive tests, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) have established that fluidized bed combustion (FBC) technology can be adopted for power generation burning paddy straw. A 10 Mwe fluidized bed (FR) power plant has been engineered. The results of the tests and salient details of the plant are described.
