Abstract

Introduction

This report is devoted exclusively to the International Conference on the State of the Art of Biogas Technology, Transfer, and Diffusion which was held in Cairo, Egypt, from November 17 to 22, 1984. The meeting was organized jointly by the National Research Center for Egypt, the Academy for Scientific Research and Technology (Egypt), the Bioenergy Systems and Technology Project of the U.S. Agency for International Development, and the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.
